Thing I really hate about the message tone is the limitation of 6 seconds. No matter how long the tune you set it plays 6 secs then silence!
K750 and W810 are the same and it annoyed me on those too.
Apart from that mine is all ok, no problems (yet) apart from the documented bugs but they're nothing too much to worry about.

i am kind f impressed with the phone, there are some real cool features on it. I do have a few problems that stand out though.
Texting can be a problem now, i used to love the feel of the buttons on the k750 and w800 but this phone the buttons feel very stiff and i occasionally make an error or two.
The camera, although excellent, when inside pictures taken with the flash on in a darker area can be a bit harsh and you end up looking like crap. Apart from that i love it. I lost my K750 so really missed having a decent camera phone. I had the motorola slvr L7 for a bit until this came out. Now im happy to have a sony ericsson again

Quote:Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) is one of the third-generation (3G) mobile phone technologies. It uses W-CDMA as the underlying standard, is standardized by the 3GPP, and represents the European answer to the ITU IMT-2000 requirements for 3G Cellular radio systems. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMTS

K800i is a 3G phone, and it support UMTS, you can increase the battery life by setting your Network to GSM only and not GSM/3G if you dont use UMTS always or if your operator dont have the service yet.
