The abillity to use 4gb card makes my phone a decent mp3 player, so it is worthy. I bet The phone will work with 8GB new cards as well. Why I need to buy a Sony-Er. Walkman series, with internal 4gb memory and no slot for ext.card, when I can use my good old P910i with such cards.

New- my P910i with 4BG memory stick pro duo now works fine with PC Suite and I can browse it when my phone is connected to the dock. Great.

Thanks for the tip, that Sandisk cards are faster.

Another question which is in my opinion of as much importance: Which one uses the least energy, because the battery life isn't that long when listening mp3's or viewing movies. Are there big differences?

I've just made the mistake of buying a 4GB card for the P910 and it doesn't work !

Firstly it didn't work at all, until I reformatted it using FAT16 and then I thought I'd cracked it, Windows XP could use and the P910 correctly reported the capacity as 3.6GB.

Unfortunately the first 2GB work fine but any files after that just can't be read by the P910. I'm not sure why this is the case because it must be using 64kb cluster size on Windows in order to get 4GB (65536 x 65536), and the fact that the first 2GB works suggests that the P910 can handle the 64kb cluster size.

Pacy - have you really got the whole 4GB working or just 2GB ? If you have would you mind telling me what you did ? I'm afraid I don't understand a word of the Czech article that you found.

Thanks

Andrew
