i duno, tobe honnest I actually tried this in class last year and found it was best to use a lappy to take notes, just because I can type faster then i write, I can also touch type properly these days to without looking at the keyboard (am doing this now to show off lol)
But I am dislexic so its not the same as everybody, one thing is will a dictaphone be able to catch the sound? I know macbook pro mics are allot more sensitive then many of the dictaphones avalible today

hmmmm doesnt appear to be out yet, I still think the best solution would be to use your ipod, im not sure where, but recently I saw a gizmo that allows you to use the old ipod acessories on the new ipods

I think i am going to get the one above to be honest a 3 in 1 solution sounds good, more versatile and may offer better sound quality.
