just told you to mod the phone into a k600 front with v600 keypad and camera slider but with the k608 back
some have a go! im not though

@aiko - I guess you are from Manila too . . . . when I visited Semicon last Sunday . . . have short discussion with the manager about the forthcoming
models (P990/K800) - net yet IN, then I saw the K-series covers on the shelf . . . I asked the saleslady if I can see those: K600/K608 . . . the K600 does NOT have a metal front cover . . . looks like plastic coated with silver paint or what . . . I tried on 'ticking' the cover and NO metallic sound was felt and heard . . . it's a coated-PLASTIC !

The front cover is 100% metal while the back one is plastic (at least concerning my k600)
Do a simple test! When you hold the front and the back covers you'll see that the front one appears to be cooler, which means they are not made of the same material, and as we know that any metal is heat conductor...oh, and by the way take a closer look at the coners of the front cover and compare the to the back one - don't they look like bent metal???

the front cover is aluminium people...if you let the phone down for several minutes and than touch just the front panel you will see its kinda cold....but the back of the phone is obvious plastic. another thing...between the screen and the front camera...where the brand stands...if you look closely you will see thats the letters are pressed in - the metal is not perfectly flat - if it were plastic it would be perfectly flat. cheers!
