I really liek the look of the K800i very styli, and I agree about the D900i looks very ugly and cheap

In my opinion the front looks nice, but the back isn't so great. The slider really is hard to get used to, but it's fine after a week or two.

but why to put an outdated joy in that and why not at least a rubberring around it to avoid dust?

K800 is good for people who wear loose pants. For someone like me, W800 in the pockets is a nightmare, let alone a K800

I think it must of been hard to design the phone and make it look OK, what with that large screen. The cam side is better IMO. The metal trim also adds class. This message was posted from a WAP device

I agree that the metal front defenitely adds class. I love my phone. That silver line also has the right finish for it to look like metal, even though it seems like plastic and it gives it a stylish look. It's perfect for me.

The new trend: the bigger is the better..but the rubber keypad is prone to be 'exfoliated' within months..the rubber-coated back housing is dirtier but gripping well in hands, anyway K800i is so classy..within months you'll get bored and SE will launch its next generation with bulkier 5 MP CyberShot..ugly duckling? I don't give it a damn. Just enjoy it until the end..It won't change anything..

I actually really like the design, it feels more substantial that the K750, not to mention it doesn't creak as much as the K750. The slight add in length is not really noticable... The camera slider could be better, but still looks the dogs!
The whole design of the phone is much more aesthetically pleasing in my eyes, it looks smooth and cool, much more sophisticated than the K750...

Cheers

Hi there, I like the camera phones from SonyEricsson. I had the S700i for two years, now I sold it and bought the K800i. The new one is technically much more interesting that the S700i, but when I first opened the box with the K800i in it, I was frightened, its black, heavy and it has an impossible camera protection, you can't even put the phone on it's back. I think for having a nice new phone I should have bought the K610i.....what do you think about the beauty of the K800i? Is there no nicer phone with K800i possibilities?

Personally I like the design of the K800i. I also like the S700i design.
the camera protection seems fine on my K800i.
I cant see how you can say the K800i is heavy when it weighs 20g less than the S700i. It does weight more than the K750i but that is because of the extra bits for 3G and the requirement of a bigger battery.
