Imo such tests should be made by moto, lg, samsung etc freaks, they arent influenced by personal taste, a kind of third party opinion. Next to it, except the cam, those fones have got nothing common imo This message was posted from a WAP device

true .... BUT sux big time in video quality ....

just wondering..is it possible to modify the FW so that the video quality can be enhanced? like they do with motorola's, many of the moto modders have a 1.3 - 2 MP camera that recor vids at onli QCIF resolution and they change the FW a bit and change the video capture to something like VGA resolution

not sure if this is entirely true but i've heard people talk abt this

i think it is possible but way out of the reach of the average joe

but still don't think that there is any phone compatible with the k800's camera and features nor any phone with good video quality

The K800 is capable of playing at least QVGA videos, so in theory it should be possible. But we know nothing about the camera module's video recording capabilities (its possible that's the weakest lin)k.

buy some duck tape - stick em side to side - you have the best phone there is - or you could all stop moaning and enjoy your phone and then enjoy your phone! or buy both and use the method above to stick em together and get the best of both worlds!

but....i have to admitt when fatreg posted his video clip from his k800i i was astounded that it was basically the same quality as that of my v600i (i think it was same size aswell - now i have a treo 650 aswell...has a vga (!!!) camera rather than 3mp - and it does 640x480 recording (erm....15 or 30fps?)

That's a great comparison. Thanks for the link!!
And I'm actually amazed that the LG performed so poorly, considering it is a 5MP camera phone... Nice try LG
