no im pretty sure the keypad would still work, seem to remember testing on the phone before hand, if you have it closed and wait until the lights/screen go off, then press the keylock slide, the LEDS on the screen light up. Correct me if I am wrong.

okay, ive now got the slider detecting wherther its open or not, which is handy. I had to use 2 magnets, one from d500 and I stuck them at the very bottom of the phone. The phone is now fully functional apart from the camera, which is inverted since the screen has been flipped.

Il make a video tonight and upload it so you can all see the phone in action.

lol, well spotted , it looked a lot more like him before I had filed it down level, he had that spiky hair effect. funny.
