I got tired of waiting for the P800 so I went and got the XDA. It's a Microsoft powered phone and it's much more useful than my old T68. One thing you have to keep in mind is that Symbian powered phones will never have as much software available as the Microsoft platform.

Microsoft phones. Never ever. No way.
Neither the operating system, or the applications.
I can't even trust my PC, and there are those many glitches and really stupid things with Outlook for instance when using it remotely (like checking new mails... people who made it didn't test it, it's not possible, it's soooo stupidly done and such a non-sense the way it works). I don't even want to think of having to use this on my mobile phone.

Long live Symbian!!! The one and only!

I have tried my brother's hp microsoft phone, it cool but the battery lasts just over a day, also it takes a long time to make a phone call
When the p800 is out the comparison will be interesting

I typed my reply right after I reset my laptop because of a bluescreen in winXP (IRQ_driver_not_less_or_equal or something like that, very helpful)...

I'm only using Windows, because I 'have' to, for example Photoshop isn't available in linux, and I have to use Windows to log on to my university-network

However, I ban as much M$-'products' as possible: IE->mozilla, outlook->mozillamail, M$office->openoffice, explorer->windows commander, mediaplayer->windvd. for example...

the only M$-products I like is calculator, notepad, Flight Simulator and it's accompaning FFB-joystick

I would buy a phone that suits my needs and therefore would buy but also Nokia or MS, Siemens or Motorola. Whatever I feel suits my needs best.
I have XP professional and never experienced any problems. I would prefer the computer market to be more like the mobile phone market with many more choices...

I never signed any contract with or Nokia or whatsoever... I think that the best way for me to express my preference is by buying products..

If MS is doinmg better phones I will buy them
