I've read in a post about 1 month ago about a java virus that does exactly what you,ve complained about : it is sending sms to different numbers ,and your bill, of course , goes up. Take care what you are download and install in your mobiles!

Also dont leave your bluetooth on. I knew someone who had a program on his phone that allowed him to access and download all your data via bluetooth. If your not using it switch it off and set your phone to be visible only to chosen phones not on general

Its a virus...Symbians arent the only ones with a virus...just like java apps, java "viruses" can also be created..mindless programs.....this sounds similar to the "auto msg" app which automatically sends certain text to a number at a time set by u...its definitely a virus,using similar source code to send a blank message multiple times to the first phonebook contact or a random contact..get an antivirus or format ur phone..

It's clearly a phone fault, not a network fault.
1. The network wouldn't leave the messages in your sent folder, it's just not physically possible.
2. The network has no way of sending messages remotely from your phone. The could do it from their end via your account and send them to your friend that way, but your phone wouldn't leave the messages in the sent items folder.
3. It's logically more likely to be a phone fault that a sim or network fault.
If it's under 28 days old, and it was purchased from O2, they will exchange it for a new one for you. Anything over 28 days and they will have it sent away for repair.
