> Z550i - metal or plastic?

I've got a Z550 as well, but I find that the back cover is metal. The volume keys are not metal. It is just covered in chrome. The back cover is metal because it is the same material as the front cover's sides. And when you remove the cover the metal is clipped on:

So the final verdict the front, back, D pad, and buttons next to D pad are all metal and the volume button is painted chrome and the hinge joint is painted chrome like the vol buttons around camera is painted chrome around external screen under glass is also painted chrome
