i guess in Malaysia the P990i are available but cant confirm it though.. as i seen on the
Malaysia 
official website , there's no
coming soon word under the P990i Product
.. fingers crossed!

Strangely the p990 is not listed on the new zealand and china websites. The coming soon tag has been removed from remaining SE China and Asia pacific countries websites, except for Hong kong and Phillipines.

I checked up with the sony-ericsson dealer in Delhi and Mumbai, who said that the P990i may be formally be on sale in these places by Friday, i.e. 25th Aug. The battery is an issue in P990 as it lasts less than P910i with the same use.

Here is an update for those in India who are longing for the P990i. Sonyericsson have informed me that this phone will be officially released before 31st August! So the waiting's almost over!!
