> Internet disconnects by itself on P990i
Bookmark topic
I too suffer from this. Opera will connect to the internet, but after loading a page for no apparent reason the internet connection is dis-connected. So if for example I want to post here on Esato using my P990i, I would log in to Esato, write my post, and then instead of being able to upload my post, I would get the log-on screen again as I would have lost my connection in the couple of minutes it took to write the post! On my old P800 you could set the timeout for the gprs / 3g internet connection, but how to do this on the P990i has eluded me. Has anyone manged it?

Yep, same problem here! But not even with 3g since its not here in the US but with the 'regular' gprs connection. If I don't cruise around constantly but pause for a minute, internet is disconnected. VERY annoying. Nothing helped yet so far.

Please, people, RTFM!
Internet accounts menu, options, set timeout & connection dialog!

I am referring to the gprs / 3g timeout.
The timeout in options under internet accounts relates to CS data. I can change this to whatever value, but it makes no difference to gprs / 3g timeout.
