when i recorded video by my p990i camera i have file format 3gpp not mp4 ..why ???

A funny thing is that my phone hangs all the time when Im trying to look on a video recorded by a friend of mine (was transfeard over bt). He have nokia 6280 and have video res 640x ___ .. Canīt the p990 handle video resolution like this? It hanged for me 3 times so i deleted it,
we get our self a good lough for the phone.

It was flipped open. Dident try it with flip close. it was 3gp video fomat

i heard some ppl on the net saying that after many upgrades for p990i maybe the video recorded come to mp4 ????!!!! is that ture ??i maen can this happen ?
