I'm going to go with Voda or O2. Which one do you think would normally give the best deal in terms of tariffs/handset price? Is Voda likely to butcher the software on this one?

basically it means the phones are unbranded with the generic firmware. if you were to buy from a carrier, then o2 would definitely be the one to go for. o2 dont lock their phones and startup and shutdown screens are usually the extent of their branding.

Totally agree with the above comments there are ways ogf getting unbranded or very little branding with a contract and IMO this is the way to go. Both T-Mobile and Virgin seem to have adopted the same policy as O2 thankfully and there are some retaillers that enable you to get sim free units with a contract. As this is a W950 thread i just wonder if this 3rd UIQ3 phone will be any better than the others?
