I am not an expert, but imo the constantly flashing caused a bug and afaik seus wont upgrade it, cos u dont have a generic fw now

er... it's not a bug that's been caused by constant flashing, as the menus for delivery reports disappeared from the first flash. and i've read 5 or 6 cases of it happening, and i've not read any cases of someone in the UK debranding a k800i from 3 and still having the delivery report options

Do you know if they flashed to the same FW as you did first? Could that FW, not available through
, somehow be incompatible with 3 GB FW, causing this problem?
If it was my phone I would focus on getting it rebranded, and if the problem persists, return it to 3.

what actually happens when you have delivery reports set to on? Mine doesnt work i dont think, my sisters does on her v600i. I think this may be as im using a phone from ebay, china firmware, and im running australian network sim and as my network uses australia region firmware obviously, it may not be functioning properly because of the different firmware region.
My mms also plays up because of this,.......any one explain why?

think what bob is trying to say is that your software isnt generic its now wotan server or davinchi branded FW as there not offical SE FW releases i havn't used Davinchi or wotan because of warenty issues

I know from past experience with my K750i that if you flash it via Davinci and then run the SEUS it will put the original branded firmware back on the handset. I tried it with my K750i flashed to W800i and it returned the majority of the handset to a K750i. Some things still looked W800i like, service menu. But everything else went back.
I would run it through the SEUS and let it work it's magic. Whats the worst that could happen...

just tried connecting it to SEUS to get the branded firmware back, but no - it tells me i have the latest firmware.... hmm, when they release the new firmware (you know the one i'm talking about, lol) do you thing they'll include put new branded ones on and give me one of those if i try and update? that would be nice.
seperate note, anyone know how to get operator "certificates"? since debranding there are some things i can't download off of the three portal, like msn, which is a bit annoying.
