> M600i - How Good is the Email Client?

I'm having an extremely frustrating time with Exchange Activesync for the M600i. All settings correct - yet on attempting to Verify I get "Symbian Error [-29] comms lined failed". I've checked on another mobile device with success - so the settings must be right - but no luck on the M600i.
Please - can anyone shed some light?

I have to agree with 701 as i also have a Yahoo e-mail account although i only send or receive manually it has worked faultlessly no problems at all.

the email client sucks ass on my m600. it was giving me kern-exec error couple of days ago so i completely reflashed the phone, and then today i faced the same error. when i open a message it just shuts the application down. very pissed off about this. any ideas?

I just did a master reset rather than a reflash and that fixes it although of course you do have to resetup the phone again.
The advantage of master reset over reflash is that you can choose to keep the installed apps and so therefore do not need to reinstall them
so basically when I got this I did the master reset, entered my internet and email account details again and resynched with outlook on my pc so downtime is fairly minimal.

the email is great but since i changed carrier and to prepaid they blocked the pop3 email so i had to get a 3rd party email client. im using morange. it takes a while to get the emails but it works great too.

did a reset last night. works now thanks for the help.
the thin is now i cannot login to My eBay section of ebay. i think it has something to do with certificates. any ideas how i can fix that?

i thinks the email client is not bad i use pop i used scheduled download at it worked like a charm.
but i would be happy to have a deleted items or trash folder.

I used the build in one for my work,gmail and yahoo mails (( fast even I download messages with big files ))
then I used the exchange one which i downloaded from sonyericsson.com
now I'm useing BB (( used the black berry software from sonyericsson website))
what I want to say is email client in M600i is perfect for me
