well yes, it would seem obvious that having the phone (camera) on you at all times would mean the opportunity for photos that you wouldn't have otherwise (this is one reason I use one). But apparently that's a sacraligious, unholy use of a camera and deserves scorn and derision....

well i've heard quite a lot complaint from various K800 users saying that the picture captured are not as good as K750. i haven't really test both device side by side though, but IMHO there's going to be at least a noticable different between 2 MegaPixel and 3.2 MegaPixel.. i personally still stick with my K750 and i would love to make a full comparison between this two device myself and determind which are better

One thing to notice, a member from this forum posted a while ago that setting picture quality to "normal" actually make the overall subject look sharper rather than "fine".
If you choose "fine" then other object surrounding the subject will a bit sharper but in the expense of the main subject. The point is use setting "fine" if you plan to shoot landscape or a far away distant object.
For close ups and other casual photography with friends and families normal setting is better. I tried and the trick is great.

- if this is better on K800 I will be happy. If not, I don't think 3.2MP is enough to entice me, given some of the reports of audio quality and lack of proper walkman player, and the fact I have full flightmode on my K750 already (courtesy vkp patches)
and file system access via FAR.

well i was once amazed for the K800 on its first announcement .. with 3.2MP that comes together with the Cybershot brand.. i was like.. "wow" .. this could be the next phone to replace my K750.. but that doesn't stay long. With current Far and latest Plugin, im a happy K750 user
no offence.
Oh max, i would love to learn how to fit a flight mode into K750 without turning the whole phone into KW750
please lead me on this

The camera of K800i is not always best in position automatic. Very useful is dark portrait with stabiliser on. It gives better flash to some meters.
Also dark landscape position is quite good with stabiliser.
It is very important to wait 1-2 seconds so that the focusing is accurate.
Use also 3Megapix and fine position.
Automatic gives only 2 meters distance to the flashlight and after that everything darkens quickly.

good point mate.. you'll make K800 users happy with your short but very usefull tutorial.. now that's how you take a great picture with your K800

i think k750i is still one of the best imaging phones , i got a nokai n73 and i would say it is twice as good but still k750i really impressive for a cellphone!

I have to agree with the initial posts in this thread that the "quality" of a digital picture is so much more than the number of megapixels. My K750 always seemed to take decent pics and seemed to be much better than my K800 at not under/overexposing the areas of the picture away from the centre of the pic.
Is there someone out there with both a K750 and K800 who could take a variety of identical pictures with both phones so we can compare?? I'd do it myself, but unfortunately the K750 died from a vodka overdose :s
Anyone?
