New memory card was a rediculous beyond rediculous decision. There was absolutly no point in changing it, 4GB Duo was enough. The phone isnt a W series, so 32GB isnt required. IMO, SE are not in the position to experiment with their phones.

well mine came with a 64 card.. and 1 gig was readily available at the time of launch since the w300i came out first... go blame vodaphone
the brown edition comes with 512.
there is a torch java app available.. you can't make a xenon flash stay on..
face it with sony you'll always be facing proprietary crap it'll never change you don't like don't buy... but then again nokia has been using t-flash in some devices and it's pricey and 2 gig just came out.
and it's not over either.. next year you'll probably see m3 that's bigger then m2 and offers higher speed.. and the reason will probably be the media format was too small and people started losing them lol..
sony has decided to split up music and cam.. i'm not happy with this either... but that's the strategy they've taken..
also the phone is pretty stable... i've had next to no issues.. random reboot here and there.. but then again EVERY PHONE i've every had i've managed to get a reboot here and there...
battery life.. odd.. mine goes about 4 days on standby and 2 days with heavy usage.. but then again i don't use 3g (battery blood sucker and have the brightness of the screen turned down)
in general battery is comparable for phones in this calibre nowadays..
even my e61 and n73 get more or less the same performance..
if you try the 6131 you'll see what poor battery life is really about

Because they are not that big a company. I can expect Nokia to do such things, as financially they are very strong.

With my second K800 (the first one was replaced because of the reboots) i have no problem at all, the battery is capable of 5 days on stand-by, Mp3 player has good sound, great QVGA screen and for me is better than the K750 that i had before

if anything nokia should have the resources and effort to not do things like this...some would say it;s harder to stay on top cause your mistakes can be too costly...

Actually SE hold out as long as they can before introducing new cards. Motorola and Nokia have been using micro cards well before SE.
The M2 is a natural progression. As kimi says, why didn't they make the phone smaller if they could? You think they go "let's make this a big arse phone, the K750 was too small"?
Every component of the phone is being shrunk every year. The memory card format holds manufacturers back because they can't miniturise it as fast as other components, due to the need to piss people of as little as possible with format changes. So I fully understand their predicament, and I don't see it as profiteering at all. You want better and better phones without them getting bigger, then you need to make sacrifices.
btw, you will probably see bigger than 4GB msdp's (they also can be up to 32GB)
