I love SE but they're in big trouble if they don't match up and learn to release their phones sooner. These are fresh and already they'll be out in 3 months time. Much shorter than what we've had to do for most SE handsets. The N95 looks real good but for my purposes don't need a GPS. Want to see some live shots.

Quote:I have had the N80 and the N73 in the past month. The N80 was a technically brilliant phone, but was let down by poor battery life, slow and clunky software and frequent crashes.
The N73 was a lot better but the phone had the annoying knack of switching off everytime I answered a call, which rendered the phone useless.
N73 is very stable. You are the first who reported it crashed when answering call. N80 with the latest firmware is stable and battery life has improved a lot.
Having bought 2 phones that are unusable, you must be one of the world's most unfortunate phone owner or you are a damn good story teller.

N95 should be
THE device to own in the new year. I think no phone can come close to it for a while. any1 who says otherwise is self-deluding.
I am quite surprise Nokia can pack so much functionality in such a small device.

I'm a true SE Fan and Nokia hater, I admit it.
But I'm starting to like N73 a little, and when I saw N95 -- both design and specs wise -- WOW! Great, I like it and I want it. Too bad it's Nokia...
But I told to myself : "What's wrong if it is a Nokia? If you want it just get it! You're not an SE nor Nokia affiliate, you're independent!"
So : I want N95 next year...

@MIB
While should you feel suprised.
Take a look at Intel...they can squeeze 2 cores into a processor and planning for 4 cores... chipset is having more transistor and circuit put into the same size....so more function can be done by the core processor.
This apply to all electronics...and tht's where Nokia manage to capitalize or exploit it. Further more....now most electronics goodies
is firmware or OS driven. As long as you have a powerful CPU and enough memory...it can do a lot of stuff....maybe tht's why Nokia is
trying to claim their smartphone is a computer...mobile computer?
Quite true though given the ability a smart phone can do now.
With their volume and power and their reputation as no1...not suprise tht their partner is willing to customized chip for them so they get the best.
It is just like how Bridgestone always keep the best for Ferrari.
Oh btw I almost thought N95 is as thick as N80 when some of the review saying it look like N80...but hey the thickness is 19mm....seem like Nokia
is definitely moving into slim phone as well.
Wonder when SE will do so.
And I guess some of you might have notice till now....SE and Nokia didn't have much direct competition in the symbian market.
Nokia is always keeping themselve at smartphone tht didn't use UIQ (only once thru the benq made smartphone) while SE have been producing smartphone tht is only based on UiQ
I always feel like they have an understanding not to fight with each other when it come to smartphone.
Well ...I just wonder how long this can last....especially M600 and W950 is really act like a S60 phone now.
