yes it is m4a format .
i still cant get my tag on my 990i .
any solution to that . and after listening AAC. i dont want put MP3.

a little bit OT here, but i was just given a brand new P990 for free and while playing around with it, i came across what to me are major problems.
1st, it doesn't want to play eAAC+ files. all i get is a clicking sound, but works fine with normal AAC-LC files. i converted my music using M3 and a Nero AAC codec and the music plays just fine on my K800.
the other big issue i have is i slipped in my 4gb MSD with over 1000 songs on it. when the media player updated the file list, it took over an hour! is that normal or might it be a problem with the MSD? it also takes ages to change track when playing music.
any insights?
