Agreed Dogman, T Mobile have been very good with the previous 2 replacements. I just think Ive lost confidence in the phone now, because something new crops up every day.
Actually, when I got my first replacement delivered to me, the courier guy said there had been loads of k800i returns.
I'll give them a call in the morning and see what they say.

@mb - If T-Mobile will replace your 3rd DEFECTIVE K800 . . . of YOUR choice, then better get either the Nokia N73 or Samsung D900, both 3 MP camfones. Good luck !

Hi mbvburn,
Looking through some of the other threads on here i think it is safe to assume it is a handset issue as opposed to some thing T-Mobile have done. The fact T-Mobile appear to have withdrawn it says a lot IMO, T-Mobile will sell you the unlock code immediately for only £15 so you could always sell a different replacement phone and buy a Sim free K800 if you want to try one last time. The choice is yours depends what you want from your phone, but i take it it's definitely less problems.

Thanks for the comments..
I phoned T - Mobile and they ask for me to send the phone back to them. They didn't want to give me a replacement k800i - mind you I said i didn't want one. I still can't access Opera or any games / apps I have on the phone so I will be returning the phone in the next couple of days.
I will probably be going for the N73 as I hear it is out on T-Mobile in a couple of weeks. T - Mobile doesn't really have any other phones I'm interested in. I hope it is the new Black Music Edition with 2G Memory Card. Shame though coz I really liked the k800i when it worked.
Oh... and had a little play with the w850 today, I didn't like the keypad at all. It felt very uncomfortable. Maybe it was just the display model but it felt that the buttons sink right into the phone under the plastic when pressed and feels really strange.

I would be a bit wary of the N73 as I have heard of problems with them turning off when answering calls.

I got a K800i without branding and mine got the WSOD to after adding a RSS feed.

It's still gone to SE.
I'm getting a replacement because my old K800i did not pass the test after repairing it so just waiting for me new K800i.

Yeah it seems to struggle with RSS Feeds.
I've been reading up on the N73 and it also seems to have it's fair share of problems but there are no other phones I like really at the moment. I'm just hoping that T Mobile's lack of getting the newer phones at the same time of other networks means it will have a more stable firmware?
Anyone have any other recommendations for an alternative handset?
Thanks

I love t mobile! I used them in england before i moved to the states. Now i use them here too. But i too have the # key looking bad. I text loads but still i dont expect this to happen. I sometimes get the white screen too but i love the phone too much to let it go
