Any fix for this. I just replaced my case and it seems to have appeared. Any fixes besides taking it anywhere.

That's how mine came about.

I still have no fix

Currently the only proper fix is to put the original cover back on, and carphone warehouse should fix it within a day or two.

Otherwise, ask carphone warehouse how they fix the problem, then do it yourself.

If you find the guts to ask them, post it here for the rest of us

I took the phone to the Carphone warehouse. I told them about how people are singing their praises on the net as having a cure for a spot appearing in the camera. I showed them the spot and without even going further they suggested I take it to an SE repair centre.

I'm going to call another store this afternoon, but this isn't good news so far.

Anyone else have any ideas?

I tried to phone 4 other stores around the area and none answered. If this is a problem more than one or two people are having how did everyone else fix it?

I think I cured the problem. I took the phone apart again. Took the main board out and diconnected the camera. On the ribbon cable that plugs into the camera there are two strips that look like they are for grounding. I pulled them up just a touch and reassembled the phone.

Worked for me and it might work for you. Maybe the camera didn't have a good ground, not sure but it works 100% now
