Hey well maby S.E. isn't for you. If you wan't something slim then go get a RAZR. If your bringing this up then you must favor looks over specs and you should go with what you like. I love the fact the SE isn't copying Motorola or Samsung. Really shows whoes a leader & whoes a follower.

needs to see the writing on the wall: the trend is towards thin phones. They can follow suit, or they can keep making tanks that are too big for most people.

I once get Samsung X820 on my hands and feel so uncomfortable holding a that thinnest phone in the world.
Yes, it is thin, very thin. But its height and width feel not so "proportional" to its thin that makes the phone so uncomfortable to hold and to operate.
For me, 10-15mm of thickness if thin enough.
Imagine M600 with 6 mm thickness... oh no! I don't want it.

The thinnest phone in the present
lineup is 17mm (K510 IIRC). In a jeans pocket, there's a big difference between 17mm and 14mm (RAZR).
Do all of you seriously believe that putting the same feature set in a thinner phone is a bad idea?

Well tell me exactly how are they going to go about taking there present hardware which is too thick for you and make it smaller to you specific size? have you seen a RAZR split open??? The hardware is crammed in there ,that is with its limited hardware capabilities. On the other hand
parts are bigger such as, the camera module used in the handsets which can perform better then a cheap cam.
But there are possibilities of minimizing chip size but not everything can be minimized to the size you would like ATM and still uphold thoes features.
Why don't you tell
copy the other manufacuters innovations!!! Then once thats done theres a possibility
would lose some of it's loyal users that supported them because of there uniqueness, and innovative features.

yeah i am yet to see a really well designed and functional phone i want to crave.
i do like the chocolate but not really used it and i know lots of peeps have had issues with it
