I'd go with your last option.

The W850i has some new features that other don't such as the TrackID and the new 2.0 player. I would definitely upgrade to a W850i from a W800i.

Then if something does appear before Christmas then your W850i will still be in good enough condition to sell.

I have been debating this for some weeks now and TBH I dont think the above features justify an upgrade from a W800i, the W850 is a great looking phone and well worth getting if you dont already have a W800i, For now I will be sticking with my beloved W800i until prob next year when an even better series appears.

i don't use it a lot in w800 and i can certainly live without one in my mobile considering it would be such a boost with w950 touchscreen, symbian and 4gb of memory...

To be honest I do value the camera. I would have taken a new phone which improved the camera but kept the music player the same if I had to. Yes I know that sounds like the K800 but I guess the W800 has introduced me to a world of nice looking phones that I just don't want to leave!

I always thought that the features meant more to be than style but when phones hit the quality of the K700 I realised that I would take a makeover rather than a features upgrade on my next phone. The W800 camera improved on the K700 but came with real style but the K800 seems to be a step backwards in style (I hate that bloody rucksack style lens cover!).

Im not sure that I want to lose any camera quality so I guess the W850 is out.

I guess that the W810 was my only real option but I have to consider losing my upgrade rights for a year for only a small gain. I suppose I should sit it out and hope that a successor is on the horizon (or a K800 makeover!)

the W900i is pretty nice, just a little big though. nice camera, good video recording, bigger screen. then again, it's not a "real" upgrade.
