Beatrix, you have two choices. a) GPRS Data or GSM Data. Difference is speed. I'm a heavy user of Smart's GPRS (kasi libre) and I can tell you that you can forget email via GSM data (which I also subscribe to, and pay) simply because it is tooooo slow @ 9.6Kbps. If your operator (don't know which one) has HSCSD, then it may be worth your while.

I can help any Globe subscriber in MetroManila to configure their T68 for Wap, GPRS and Yahoo mail browsing. Customer service people at 211 don't always provide you with accurate infos because they have not used the phone extensively. At present, GPRS at Globe is still free of charge. You Can send SMS (even to other countries) free of charge and faster by GPRS. Yahoo mail can be sent and retrieved by Gprs or thru your dial up ISP.
Just post your celfone number and I'll get in touch.

tol, nakapagsend ka pa ba ng SMS via GPRS? You are a Globe subscriber right? Ang alam ko kc ay di na'to possible dahil sa mawawalang income ng globe? When i try to send SMS via GPRS, palagi syang nagfail. Or there might something wrong with my settings? can you detect what's wrong with my settings? Salamat, pare in advance!!!
