Hey friends, the problem has resumed. Now since the past 2 days whenever I try to connect to Mobile Office using my laptop and Infrared adaptor, the connection gets through, but no page loads fully. The speed drops after 10-15 secs and then 'Page cannot be displayed' appears in IE and 'Server not found' in the case of Firefox,No single Airtel customer care executive could resolve this.

Virus scan was done as well which didn't find any virus this time.
They kept giving contradictory solutions as to the settings but unfortunately nothing worked out.

Details:

Model:SE K508i
Mode:Infrared (IRda)
Operating System:Windows XP Pro with SP2
Browsers:IE6 and Mozilla Firefox
Proxy:202.056.231.117 (tried both enabled and disabled)
Connection:Airtel Mobile Office Rs.600 per month scheme
External ID on Mobile Data account: 2
Dialling number: *99***2*1#
Place:Ahmedabad

Could anybody please helpe out on this. Thanks in advance.

Satya

Infrared, bluetooth connections to the laptop are very slow this will give you very less browsing speeds even if your mobile is able to download very fast..
Why dont you use a SE data cable?.. Its cheap and hell lot of faster..
