One thing I did wonder was if someone who has a working RSS reader (i.e. not an Orange customer) can check what happens when an RSS podcast feed is updated -- do the enclosures come too?

Could you post a link to an RSS that has podcasts please, and I will try it for you.

Paul, please could you try with http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/rm[....]worldservice/godigital/rss.xml ? There's a further nice selection here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/4977678.stm , including video podcasts.

@mlittle Thanks for posting the links, the digital planet feed added fine, but when I tapped on the globe icon, it just opened the default SE homepage on opera But found some podcasts that are downloadable on the BBC site as .mp3 files.

I made also different tries to use the 4 Gb MS, and doesīnt work. I am convinced that the reason is that P990 doesīnt accept more than 2 Gb.

I formatted directly via Windows, I formatted via the P990, I used the files created by the phone, I didīnt, I divided the files in groups of less than 100, I transferred via USB using the PC suite to the P990, I copied them directly to the card via the PC ...

You can see the total files (around 1.300 / 3,5 Gb) in the Explorer, you can browse them ... they are there, in the card, readable and OK.

But, when you connect the card in the phone (two more tries: connected with the power off, and connected with the power on) most of the files become corrupted and they are not readable by the P990i. Now you can see in the PC explorer that almost 50% are corrupted or disappeared.

That problem does not happen when the size of the total files is less than 2Gb. You can play normally with the card and the total files in this case.

For sure, the P990i has the latest FW.

Robinho: are you sure that you have more than 2Gb?. If so, are all the files dived in different groups? how many files? how many groups of files?. Thanks.

The P990i DOES support UP TO 8 Gb MS. THIS IS A FACT. The manual says 8 Gb max and alot of us i using a 4 gig card with great succes so please stop talking about this 2 Gb limit!

May be you have a broken (or cheap) MS?

Supermule ... I thought also that, that the card is not OK.

But it is a Sony HS card, I open the envelope directly, so I can assure that the card is new.

And, I think that in the case that the card wasīnt OK, it would not work properly with the PC neither, but it does, the problem becomes after the first connection to the P990i.

And sorry, I have not to stop of talking about the problems I have. So, what is this forum for?

are you sure you are using an original sony card.
its very hard to make out the difference.
i had problems with the card that i got from ebay and i cross checked with sandisk i found it was not original. so i am going to send it back for a refund.
