Just take the referb.
It'll be in mint condition. I had a K750 on O2 and about 11 months in it broke. O2 said they'd either fix it or send me a referb, I opted for a referb due to the fact it meant I got my phone back earlier. And it was in pefect condition, unlike my old one. So I was well happy. I sold the phone a week later then upgraded to a K800, so was a double winner. Got a lot more for it as it was "as new".
