Well thanks for the information. Most people I have heard of have only had to wait about two weeks for this code. I guess I will wait unti lthe 20 working days are up again and then get back on to them.
Real pain since I could have taken it to a shop and got it done a lot quicker and cheaper.

just as lovewalrus said. But remember also the phone itself is NOT part of your contract. Just the sim and airtime agrrement.
Although you have paid for a seperate, unlocking service. So ask them for a refund or part of it. Though I doubt they will be to helpful, as you have just left their network. Best of luck.
