you try to update through wotanserver.
When you conect your phone to usb instead of c button you press 2 and 5 together and your computer will recognise the phone. After you can update the erom.

hi there.

I have this problem, or at least similiar. I was playing a game on my phone, then had to switch it off quickly. I tried to turn it on again and it only went to the start up screen then did nothing, so i turned it off, took the battery out, waited, switched it back on, but it came up with 2 white screens of deaths

I have absolutely no idea how to fix it, ( I have read this forum topic, and not entirely 100% sure, so would like to clarify). The warranty ran out 2 months ago. sucky.

when i connect my phone to my laptop, i use the program My Phone Explorer...if that helps.

Could someone kindly explain to me in simple terms how to fix my phone?

thanks!

I've had the same problem with my K800i - I tried doing this but only received the following message in XS++

19:25:56| Baseband ID: 9900
19:25:56| Protocol Version: 3.1

It then just sits there. Anyone have any ideas? When I tried pressing and holding C it wouldn't work at all.

Yeah I had this problem. Its because you're ripping the battery out before the phone has completely shut down (don't think that just because the screen is black, that the phone has shut down). You should wait a good 10 seconds after turning the phone off before pulling the battery out, or if your phone has a status LED, wait for it to stop flashing.

When it happened to me (twice with the same model of phone), I took it back and they gave me a brand new replacement handset.
