strange this topic came up! I had a heated argument with my girlfriend last night, she picked my p990 up threatening to throw it and been cocky old me said do what you want its insured! big mistake! she launched it across the room
i was expecting a cracked screen or some kind of damage! but luckely nothing, not even a mark! Got lucky there!

dropped mine just this morning from a height of 4 feet straight on to a hard marble floor, stylus flew south, the phone north, I too was expecting the worst, but luckily there wasn't a single scratch. Really impressed

Never dropped mine so far...too precious to be careless with it.but i am very7 careful with my phones..dropped my old T310 about a dozen times,K700 about 4 times...hope my P990 never has any flying experience
Btw,wasn't there an incident where a woman swallowed her husband/boyfriend's mobile phone??Girls just dont know how much a mobile phone means to us...

Whew. i'm not the only one who's dropped the P990. Good to know it's built well, I've got a cover on it, i thought perhaps it was the cover that saved the phone.
@adz. any girl that's going to throw a phone needs careful consideration mate.
