hahaha.
ALL the routers, out of the box, can be accessed typing an IP address in your internet exlorer. The defualt user is Admin and there is no password.
You need to be either connected directly to the router or via the wi-fi.
As far as the IP address, it could be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1, depending on the brand. Then you can access all the router functions.
Typically the ones for whihc you have to pay, won't be that open, one would think...

Also, if one enables MAC filtering you can connect to wi-fi but fortunately or unfortunately no internet.
When you connect to wi-fi with laptop see if router gave you IP address. If not (0.0.0.0) try with right click on wi-fi sign on the bottom and select 'repair' option. It may work.

I hope you know you can go to jail for doing something that stupid. If you can afford a $650 cellular phone, then you can afford to pay for internet.

Hi all,
To be honest i am more than a little surprised that after Spine6 and myself tried our best to warn you of the dangers of using unsecured and unknown WiFi connections. None of you seem at all concerned but at the end of the day its your choice just awaiting the coming thread.
