You can take the handset to a SE service center, and if they can repair it they will up to the normal economical repair level for the handset. The only problem you would get would be if the handset needed to be replaced.

They will not replace a non UK handset and this can only be done in the country that the handset was orginally made for sale in.

Firmware flashing, I can't see why this would be a problem as they just use Emma for that.

Ehm no... I got my branded K800i this summer in greece.. I called SE yesterday and they told me that norway couldn't repair it (i live in norway) and i had to send it to sweden..
