What about the XDA Orbit? I'm considering one myself having waited till now and still no P990 from o2....looks smaller than P990 but with no Querty

The TyTN would be O.K. but the stability of WM5 OS is questionable at its best. And that form factor isn't the greatest, either...IMHO. And most HTC products are very similar, not much originality here. The list could go on.
Still I can't decide whether it's worth switching over to E70 from P990i or not.

Stability of wm5? Compared to a p990? I've had wm5 devices, and although they need to reboot here and there, it's stable like a rock compared to my p990. I've never had a phone that consistently reboots itself.
I'm seriously tempted to write off my p990 as a loss. We'll see what a new firmware release does....

I think no qwerty, shoul be a great loss to us after using P990. touchscreen could be subtitute with good navigation, but not in qwerty case. So qwerty is a must. I think to buy E70 next month for new year's gift for myself ....lol. I'm gonna give a review about it next january, How 'bout that? cause i'm planning to sell my W800i and thinking of a new one

i hate nokia cause they make so many phone with almost the same feature... but i admit with their experience, they really make phone with the best interface and navigation... like they know how people use te phone... i think they have a user team, so that thay can launch so imaginative product. Think SE should do the same thing and carefully listen to their user or at least built a strong user team on designing their phone...

Personally, I feel that SE phones are "smarter" for advanced users. The amount of attention paid to the details really separate them from others. I have been using P900i for many years and now a P990i. Before the P990i, I have purchased many WM5 & Nokia phones. But time after time, I kept returning to my old P900i. Although it is out-dated, but it is still a little "smarter" than the newer phones.
I believe the P990i can be an awesome phone. It might take 2-3 more firmware updates to reach that point, but I have learnt from my experience that it is better to wait patiently than to spend the money on other phones. Hope that SE will not disappoint its many long-term supporters!

Guys have u checked XDA flame?? will relese Q1 2007 the spec is awesome.. 520 duo processor (maybe like duo core), 2 gb flash ROM, NVIDIA, radio... the bad are, no QWERTY + very bad looking (look like miniature of 80's television).. not even half of P990 in design..for now stil E70 close to P990 in my opinion

I recently got the treo 750v and it fantastic, palm have changed the today screen to allow one hand operation, it really works. By far the best windows smartphone i have used. It has not got wifi however....
