Hi
Does any one know how SE warranty works when you buy the phone of Ebay, this came from Singapore to the UK, SE have told me the phone is not covered because it was bought of ebay and from another country! I thought with SE being global you could just take it in to your nearest service location..?
The touch screen is still not working.. and the phone is not usable.

Make sure you did not lock the screen by accident.

I bought my M600 off of Ebay too, but it has a European model. The warranty says its valid in the European economic area (EEA)
That means i can take it to a UK service centre right? As my stylis holder has broken (on the inside of the phone.) :s

the phone never leaves my sight.. but i know that water on your phone does not help.. spoke to SE again one guy said it sounds like water damage another guy said it sounds like the screen has just failed, and said they had same problem with other models in the P series. I'm also wondering whether it's because i occassionally use a solution to clean the screen, as it did fail shortly after using it. I wear eye glasses somtimes and i have a spray solution i use to clean my specs and they come up gleaming, a slight squirt on a soft cloth has worked great for all my previous phones P800/900/910/990 without any problem..
Seems i will have to pay to get it fixed anyway as the the seller who sold it to me claims there is no warranty anyway, tho' SE now say if he the seller can provide his receipt of purchase then it will be covered for 24 months, even here in the UK, trying to communicate with him tho' is not easy, typical seller in singapore who is slow in answering and when he does he's never clear.
