@ Sammy_boy: I will use the Orange care as a last resort. I wouldn't mention that fact that water may have got on to the keypad, instead i'll just say my keypad suddenly developed a fault.

However, i know i won't get away with it if i send it to the Sony Ericsson repair centre. If water did get into the keypad, the phone engineers will know straight away and they will properly inform me that they cannot fix it due to water damage and it has VOIDED the warranty.

I'll wait and see how the handset functions before i decide to either still send it to repair or use my insurance to claim.

Hopefully it will be ok after leaving in a warm place for a a couple days (keeps her fingers crossed and anything else she can cross).

I decided to use my W800i again and see how it goes (through i am scared using it now since what happened). The C button still not to be good but sometimes it is. :-|

I think thats all i can really do for it now. :-| I'll keep you updated and let you know how things go.

Update: I noticed that the "5" key is also expriencing the same problem as the C key

I have one of those Bio safety cabinet where i work, which has a strong airinating flow, so i again i taken the things out like last time, and place it in there on my slilicon case for a while through i doubt that will do much *SIGH*.
