Well i sure am having a tough time with my device..
Its not working due to the update failure on the first attempt, the battery is all drained out and now the SEUS isnt even detecting the phone..
I'm really getting pissed off now..

Dont worry, I'm having similar problems, I understand how you feel.
Just try to recharge the phone (they say it should be fully charged when updating) watch out that the phone doesn't get hot during charging. If it does unplug it immediatly and take it into your service provider for either paid for repair or warranty (just make up some sob story that they might believe and they should send it in to be fixed).
If it charges (it wont show that it's charging so leave it on for about 2hrs) then try the SEUS update again. If that doesn't work, take it in.
Trying to charge it may be risky so be careful.

EDIT!!: Aah woops, didn't see your phone lock post.
Only the service provider will be able to help you out with that.
