You become old two days before you die.

Ah! Axxxr has just reached a 'milestone' 30? 40? 21? He he.

30 is ancient to teenagers however, The Queen was still horseriding well into her 70's. My mum died at 67 and to me that was young. Most older people would tell you that 30 something is still young. Enjoy yourself while you can, as they say, Youth is wasted on the Young. . .

I suppose it comes down to how much importance one places upon others' opinion of one's self.

That plays a huge role in how one ultimately acts and to a certain extent feels. My father was 58 when he passed on and I thought he looked young. For me 'old' would have to be over 65, anything less than that is young.

I'd say old is 80's. Some people look great at 70 and 80, others look withered and broken down at 40. You're only as old as the one you feel. He he.

as scotsboy saud your perception of old changes..

as axxxr said when he was 15, 20/25 seemed old, as it did for me, im currently 22 and dont feel old! and now think that old is getting somewhere close to 70. but again im sure in a few years time when i reach 30/40 i will no loger think of 70 as being old, but its all down to the individual, there views on the world has a big part to play and their grip on things.

there is defo no definitve answer as to what is old.. well not in a human sense anyway.

I think its true to say that your only as old as you feel,I think most of that is down to how one thinks and interacts with others.

liek said, when i was 15, i thought 20 was old. but now i am about 21, and i feel like im still pretty young. I agree with @fatreg when he said his idea of old changes as he gets older. honestly, old right now to me is "over the hill" (around 50ish...)

or once you start going gray and balding! haha just kidding about that part
