the latter part of which [missuk's suggestion], I do not suggest you do yourself unless you've experience at least ripping a PC apart. go contact vodaphone to help you with the replacement

I know my way through a PC as I've put one together for myself. Dont know if a phone is anything like a PC inside though.

Theres no damage to the inside because luckily when it fell, only the side came into contact with anything. The only damage is on the outside.

The first thing I checked after I dropped it was whether the autofocus was working or not. Reason for that is because thats the only mechanical part and I dropped from about a metre up and it hit the corner of a tough porcelain tile.

As you can see the tile bears no marks. B**TARD

That dent looks a lot deeper under good light.

Always prefer Authorised Service centre as it is trusted because unauthorised service centre may charge you smaller amount than authorised but there is so many chance to damage own handset.

I also dropped my K790 twice in the first week, just a day before I got my case delivered. Funny thing is that after I got the case I haven't dropped it in more than 5 months. from the falls it got a little dent in the bottom part and also a the housing feels a little bit loose in some places, and it also squeaks a bit. everything is working fine so I learned to live with it.
