You'll need the DCU60 (the k750) cable only if you are using K750, so no need of modding any of the cables. The whole point with the converting is to make a cable that the computer will recognize a dead phone so you can reapir it. The little piece of electronic (that black box on the DCU11) is the main thing needed for the phone to be recognized, but you said you need to connect with FAR. Just install the flash drivers and connect to FAR. You should convert the DCU11 to DCU60 port only if you use K750 in the future, so no need of converting. Enjoy

I killed my k750 recently and I had to buy a service cable lol. Sonics was the only thing that would start recovering the phone (to quote SETool, "cowardly refusing to load empty loader, phone dead"

hai strizlow,
i have a problem in conecting DCU11 with k700 i did the following ..
1. installed pc suit drivers for the cable.
2. copyed EPIUSB.sys(flash driver) to c:/windows/system32
3. i restarted computer and unpluged my mobile phone
4. i again conected my phone back. but it dosent recoginise "FOUND NEW HARDWARE"dint come.
Still i can conect in pcsuit in COM4 port !.
tel me how to install flash drivers again????????????
but still i installed my FAR manager and SEFP in plugin folder
1. i started FAR and press alt+f1 and entered SETP.
2. for my phone i chose COM4 ,but i am little bit confused chosing CID29 or CID39 tel which suits me.
3. and i conected my phone by pressing "C" but it automaticaly switched ON and in that screen they told "Hit power button" next to that "No responce from phone"i waited long time but it dosent load

1. how to install flashdrive ????
2. when wil it say "found new hardware"????
3.what is my phones calble k_00 CID29 or k_00 CID39(seems like that i am not sure)????
4. what button should i press "C" or power button(in some phones "C" and power button are same)?????
5. why is the phone turne ON when i conect cable to phone?????

plz help me.................................

The site I gave to you is a link to the file which is uploaded on MegaUpload server. Actually it is approx. 11MB size so it couldn't be send in email attachment. When clicking the link, you will be directed to a page where you need to enter 3 numbers (in the upper part of the page) and press download file. Then wait some seconds until the download is being available and press download file. You should be able to get the file that way.
