Just so i know that im not going Mad (Althou i am mad lol )

If you have ordered a brand new phone through Orange Online / Orange shop and you are a brand new customer. On there own website
** Terms and Conditions **
Money back guarantee (phones only)

New Purchases
You can return any mobile phone purchased through the Orange shop within 14 days (excludes Unique Phone) of purchase provided that the goods are returned in good condition and in their original box. Any accessories or additional products that were supplied with your phone as part of the purchase of that phone must also be returned.

If you had the phone as an upgrade

The the following applys

** Upgrades
You can return any mobile phone purchased through the Orange shop within 7 days of purchase provided that the goods are returned in good condition and in their original box. Any accessories or additional products that were supplied with your phone as part of the purchase of that phone must also be returned.

*** However if you bought the Orange phone from another mobile source on line, you will have to go to them direct. (They are responsable for the first 7-14 days of purchase of the phone)

Hi there again, i rang orange, they won't give me a new phone and they said they need me to send them pictures with the dust in the lens to prove it is there.
And they did not help me i can give it to a store. Also where did you get that information to do this so i can use it as proof to get a new phone.

ring Orange and Cancel the contract. Just tell them under the 14 days returns you no longer want the phone.

dont say any thing else, just say that the phone isnt what you wanted.

They will then send you a returns enevelope and you return the phone.

Then if you want to go back to them sign up for a new contract.

Play them at there own game.

Orange have recently adopted a new attitude (Of Its our future tough to the customers) So you adopt one (Bye bye Orange)

Simple.

Any more let me know.

The Terms and conditions are on oranges own website.

Tell Orange to read them!!

@HarvJH,
Sorry to hear of your current problems when speaking to customer services and you eventually get through tell them to either give you the number for Orange executive office or to connect you to them as this is the dept you really need to deal with to get your situation resolved IMO.

I have stated this previously in another thread here on Esato but can't remember which one it was. But when i had a P900 and it was 2 firmware releases behind what was available and had too many stability issues i actually was told i wasn't allowed to upgrade the firmware. This was actually told to be via the Executive Office and in the end it was only when i forward all correspondence to the legal department informing that if the situation was not resolved within 7 days i would issue a summons as the goods were not fit for purpose miraculously I was told to return the phone and received a full refund with cancellation of the contract with 11 months left to run at no penalty.

Unfortunately Orange have an attitude that they are always right and you are wrong irrespective of the facts and that was why after having connected 1,000's of phones to their Network and having been an Orange customer since launch vowed never to have an Orange phone again, good luck just don't give up and take their BS.

Marc
