The Erom is the Main Bios of the phone. (Like a Computer Bios)
The CID is part of the switch on / Boot system Security feature of the phone

You can't update EROM with SEUS. Only authorised SE service centre or third party like

http://www.seuniverse.com client can do it for you. Latest EROM on DB2020 platform (K800, Z610, and newer SE) seems to be R3A016. If you want to upgrade EROM then DO NOT use SEUS to upgrade to latest firmware yet! Update the EROM first then you can update firmware with SEUS later.
CID, well my understanding is you don't gain benefit to update CID. In fact it only delay you being able to customize your phone (if you are a modder). CID49 is the latest that can be crack and it took more than 5hr with PhoneXS. If you are not a modder than it is OK. Using SEUS now will update your EROM CID to 51.
