Too much action for too little result. I just stick my phone back in the holder. Nice trick tho.

Don't think its a trick I'll use often(my phone is normally fully charged), but I'll keep it in mind. Thanks for contributing

Cheers,

Thanks for the tip. I don't have issue with power consumption, but I just hate the "long wait" before the screen light goes off.

well, some nokia phones, especially the older ones have a reserve battery built in them in the case of emergency you can increase your battery by 1 bar or so, enough to make a few calls, it can be activated by pressing *3370# on your keypad, the fone would restart with more battery. works on my nokia 8210, but becoz the fone is so old it actually decreases the bettery as it utilises more energy thru restarting, lol

or do what i do. it's a one thumb operation. so, loclk the phone using ur thumb, and theb with the same thumb, roll the jog dial in any direction. same results quicker.

why dont you guys put your phones to flight mode? it makes battery last longer. much longer (tested). seriously!

great.... a better one would be to switch off the handset and it saves a lot of battery.. hehehe.. seriously...

now some thing serious.. the best way to increase battery is to use the lowest possible brightness for viewing that u need under each situation...
like i use
hopefully some program will come out sooner like magic profiles when it will automatically change the brightness according to the situation....
