My p990 goes between being stable for days at a time, and needing to be restarted several times an hour. Re-booting every day isn't going to make a lot of difference, it will just hide some of the unreliability. This comment on the SE site has been there for at least 2 months anyway.

i have to restart my M600i once a day. if i don't it doesn't accept incomming calls or messages. never had this problem with my sim free M600i's but my vodafone branded 1 is a right b**ch some times...
