Heh... Strange that you should mention that now, miss uk. Over here in Singapore, 2 people were arrested in 2 unrelated incidents involving the unauthorised use of wireless networks. One of them apparently sent out a terror hoax using an unsecured network, while the other was arrested simply for using another person's network to surf. I'm pretty sure a lot of people are doing the latter, but he was just unlucky I guess.
Anyway, have fun surfing, but just make sure it doesn't break any laws over there yeah? It's not worth the trouble.
tough crowd.
Here in a city close by where I live a free wifi network is being build as we speak to blanket the city. I will try that one out in the Spring.

if you hack a wireless network you can do allot of damage, its mental!
I actually run one in uni at the momet, I also have a wi-fi camera whcih is pretty cool, but I have a full ascii protection which is a 26 digit encripted acces to my network, as far as I know the best I can use....

@Residentevil, it's a tough crowd indeed. Singapore is intending to become one big wireless hotspot in 2 years time. I'm not sure how fast the free access speeds will be, but I don't think I'm gonna be using it unless I desperately need internet access when I'm out. And yes, I believe wi-fi and bluejacking are not exactly the same.
