Just take a picture of the Main Screen, that would be the one with the 4 icons at the bottom, and your network operator at the top. The homescreen.

Yours is not branded /1 and /2 are Generic World versions of the FW. Your FW is very old though lol.
@zyexx
Yours is a grey area, can you provide a pic of the homescreen please?

Hi seunlock-uk,
My firmware details are as follows:
Phone: CXC 162037 R9C001
Bluetooth: CXC 162058 R3A01
Organiser: CXC 162088 R1B01
CDA: CDA 162017/57 R1A02
I am having issues updating to any later firmware.. is this normal? I just spent $70 to get my phone unbranded (I am currently in Australia) so i hope that wasn't a total waste of money!

I hope that you haven't paid that amount of money and still have /57 FW becaus eif you have you still have the same branded CDA that you had before. All they have done is flash on the newest FW, as soon as you go to update via SEUS you are gonna return to having branded FW again
Sorry to be the berer of bad news. But you got stung, technically they did "debrand" the phone, as they change off your old FW for new FW but they didn't do the most important bit (IMHO) and that is to allow you to update via SEUS in the future without having to send it back to them.
We only offer debranding with CDA change as it is the best way for the customer, so you got what you asked for BUT they IMHO are VERY dodgy and have not done what I consider to be a full job.
@Zyexx
It would appear that any branding on yours is slight. BUT I would say that you likely have the "Carphone Warehouse" version of being unbranded, which is effectively a light O2 branding which will stop you from updating regularly.

I believe that yours is a Portuguese variation, so yes it would have. please confirm with Jedi that you have the same CDA, as I managedto find out hi was from portugal, and am sure that it was /8.
At pesent debranding and changing CDA very very slightly increases the volume, there is no major beneficial service available at present.

@seunlock-uk
So does this mean I have to wait until an O2 firmware is out for me to do an update?

Yeh if I am correct then you would have to wait for /8 FW which will take a while if there eve is an update. Branded FW's are not guaranteed to be updated at all.
