When I got my P990 originally and I copied the folder of "People Photos" from My P910 to use for the Contacts images again, I noticed they were quite small and fuzzy in comparison.

Quite strange, seeing as the P990 screen is a lot sharper generally than the P910).

I've not had chance to look into resolving it yet - but I'm guessing it's the image size and the P990 being different screen size.

It's on my "Must look into" list !

anybody else using other picture sizes without any issues when synchronizing with outlook?
So far I have 640X480. I would hate doing all the work, reformatting the pics just to find out it's the wrong size?

I have mine set to 192*192 for some historic reason that must of seem ok at some point, but can't remember why.
These sync ok with Outlook and Web based SyncML systems.

I think that on my phone the pictures did look better with the f/w before the latest. What do you think?

Mine are all broken and pixelated after a month maximum no matter what res I use. I just got used to re-attach them. Nothing else I can do...

701,
do you sync up the Contacts? Or the pictures just get pixelated out of the blue?
One other reason, other than Outlook, that can screw up the pictures, is the contacts compress function that automatically runs from time time... it sucks.

@Scroitoru:
No, I never sync contacts with Outlook, just make a copy of 'em in the M2 card. The screw up out of the blue, usually long after using 'em.
