FYI, there's no need to have a credit to use wotanserver client to update EROM. Just leave user/pass blank, it works, just did it myself

Again someone correct me if I'm wrong...but updating your EROM won't affect your data.
Your data will only be wiped if you overwrite your firmware/software.

How long does this take? I connected the phone it told me it's waaay out of date and that I should update the firmware, I said YES and it told me to disconnect, remove battery, replace it and then connect it again while holding 2 and 5, now It's saying EROM: starting upgrade and it's just stuck there with no sign of progress... I left it there for 5 minutes and then disconnected it now I'm trying again...
PS looking at the wotan.log file I see the following:

After holding 2 and 5, Wotan asked me to install SE USB flash, and I said yes..Windows did the wizard and I clicked Continue installation and the EROM was upgraded in a success. Just 3 seconds to do that! The total time is 11 seconds started from pressing 2 and 5. That was my story. If you have troubles, it might be the internet connection. Try again later.

I don't think the "free" EROM upgrade exists anymore:

They say it is 'free' if you flash your phone for 1 credit.
PS - do I need to have a CID51 to do the EROM update? Not sure if I want to upgrade yet.
