What do I need to do in order to make my site available to mobile internet users?

Either create wap html (wml) which can include text,links, pics in wbmp format (2 colour for b+w phones) and colour pics in jpg/gif format, thay must be under 3kb so all phones can see them.
Or use xhtml which works over all platforms, the problem lies with the phones which just don't have the memory to display complicated web sites.
Your server must support wap protocols as well , i.e. wml extensions or it won't work.
