The main issue here is that sometimes I will get a 100% showing on the progress bar and sometimes I don't. And as I read from time to time in the forum, some of the problems we commonly faced is because of a "bad" firmware update.
My own personally experience is that the upgrade done by the Service Centre is more stable than the one I do myself via SEUS even though the firmware version is exactly the same. I always thought the reason for this is because the Service Centre is giving me a "newer" firmware but as the changes are minor, they didn't change the version number.
Now, it looks like the reason for my "unable" phone might be caused by SEUS. Theoretically speaking, in order for the phone to know if the firmware is upgraded correctly, they should do a checksum... sure how that this is done before SEUS displays the "Upgrade Completed" message.
